HEALTHY MARITAL RELATIONSHIP THE BIBLE WAY!

I might be very strict on certain marital beliefs, someone might even say that I’m too rigid, and not flexible with regards to new age principles on marriage but I owe no apology to anyone whatever position you may have been rated in the world. The word of God in the Bible is superior to all men’s ideology and should be the manual for coordinating the marriage institution, this is because marriage is God’s invention!
Research from a valid source has revealed that there is a lot of separation and divorce in this 21st century even though we have more singles tents’ meetings and seminars.
Our fathers and mothers who never had any formal education, never had any much post- marital counseling like we do these days had their marriages lasted to our days. Now with all the conventional wisdoms, with our invented tips and steps to a good and lasting relationship. Our marriages cannot last not even for a decade. All these are results of not letting our marriages run like the Originator’s intention:

And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. Gen.2:18

If God said it is good and approved marriage. You must find out why and how and not assume you know. I have often said that there are more instructions for the woman to exhibit for her husband than it is for the man, if you are a woman you may not like to hear this. The devil hates marriages probably because it typifies the church and Christ. Ephesians 5:32. Read it contextually. The devil will hate and combat with anything that has the Christ’s image.
But do you know how the devil fight marital relationship? He corrupts the minds of those involved with worldly thoughts, ideas and philosophies that can’t be substantiated with the originator’s manual the holy scriptures. The corruption comes from what we see and hear, the Christian marriage must guard against movies, teachings and worldly views that goes against God’s designed for marriage.
How many of the movies we watch portrays biblical roles of women and men in a marital union. Maybe they are! But in most cases you would have learned indirectly from the wrong movies how a wife can raise her voice over her husband. Its subtle! Couples in the faith must be very sensitive to marriage patterns displayed on T.V and on social media.
Have you wonder why there is such instruction as this:

The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; 4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, Titus 2:3-4

The above verses of the Bible obviously insinuates that a young married woman cannot love her husband successfully until she is mentored by a older godly woman who have been in the marriage institution for decades. But the 21st century woman is ignorant of this.Be informed by God’s word if you care.
Conventional wisdom says there are so many love languages that can be harnessed in marriage. God said, it is only two that is required. One for the man and the other for the woman. How simple can it be!
The love language to your husband as a woman is SUBMISSION. The Bible goes on to describe how she should submit to her husband,

“Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Ephesians 5:24

Here is the truth, until a woman submits to her husband against her will, she hasn’t learnt submission.
To the man, his love language to his wive is Love! Therefore you can’t divorce them no matter what… if you are really walking in love towards them. How should the man walk in love?
Ephesians 5:25

“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it”
